Clinton Invite

On this race day, there was perfect weather. It was a great day to be a Maroon. We had champions in every race this day and almost everyone got a medal! The first race of the day the fresh-soph girls took first place with a perfect score of 15 points. Taking the individual title was Kiliegh Burge, with the time of 20.34. In the fresh/soph boys race ,they took second place on this fine day. To top it off, they also had an individual champion in Tim Wolf with the time of 17.50. In the Varsity girls race, Savannah Hampton took 9th place passing up six runners within the last mile. The team finished in 5th place.  In the Varsity boys race, there was another individual champion in Andrew Ellison with a time of 16.28. They finished in 4th place. Overall, it was a great day considering, for some,  thoughts were running towards Homecoming and not the race at hand. Back the  truck up, almost everyone got a medal
