Great Job!! It’s mayhem in the city of Moline as the Maroons ends winning drought. The Maroons dominates the Western Big 6 Conference meet by winning the team title with 36 points. This was the first time all season that the team ran together as a cohesive unit. The team had athlete’s with some sort of injury or illness the entire season. The team ran great!!! considering the 17mph winds and very wet and muddy course and 40ish degree temps. One could only imagine how many personal best the entire team would of had if the course was dry and little wind.
Jackson lead most of the race until 400 meters left(Awesome) Tim and Nikola were practically running together most of race(Awesome Jon and Michael followed that good example of Nikola and Tim. Awesome) All Positives!!!!!
Coach T is speechless after this race!! (Just keep it rolling into Normal Illinois next week) Key Note to take away from this meet. Did anyone find Coach T and the Gatorade? The competition next week will be tougher teams.
