Karen Martinez was our only qualifier for this meet and this race was flat and fast. Karen ran to a 75th place finish with a time of 20:08. How good was the competition? Quincy boys and girls won the Western Big Conference. The two teams in this meet placed 10th. Karen ran a good race and being a freshman and learning how to race will make her a better runner with her potential and talent to grow in the following years as a runner. (Believe in your abilities)
