Outstand race, with a new PR of 14:46 and placing 40th overall. In a normal year this would automatically get you top 25 all state honors, however this year was not the case. Due to the perfect weather, times were off the charts for almost every athlete in this race this year. The last time Isaiah ran on this course, which was earlier this year, the young man led the entire race for 2 miles. The goal was getting Isaiah back to this course one last time without getting injured. Coach T and Jill came up with a plan for Isaiah this year, however he didn’t like at first, however he loved the end results. And if your were Isaiah parents, you hated the plan. Isaiah ran every race this year with a new power and strength, and a will to win. When you’re running a PR every race, you’re competing not only against others, but yourself. Isaiah ran exception in every race this year except one, and that was due to the car incident that week. Outstanding student athlete!! We love you and we will miss you next year.
