Detweiller Park – First to the Finish – The weather was a little warm when the gun went off for the varsity races in 3A. The Maroons ran very well on the (State Championship Course) today considering it is Homecoming week. This is comparing times to last year performances on this course. Special kudos goes out to Jackson McClellan with a very, very nice time of 15:41***. Jackson is now ranked #2 on the Maroon top 10 list as a Junior for this course and #6 for top ten Maroons time. Also Freshman Eryn Robertson will be added to the list of the top ten times on this course, “Great Job.” The team had several athlete’s that ran faster on this course today at this time than last year.
