This was the year for Jackson! The coaching staff always said if Jackson could just go injury free the entire season “Jackson would be Dangerous.’ (He’s Dangerous) For three seasons Jackson have had injuries in cross country that impaired his performance to be the best. This season Jackson exploded, running record setting times and running at a higher level than ever before and running with the best runners in the state of Illinois. Coach T, believes that Jackson would have went sub 15:00 this year at the state meet and also been a top 10 finisher. However the season was cut one race short this year due to the virus, but we are all thankful that the IHSA allowed cross country to compete this year whereas other sports were canceled.
