The conditions were perfect today for the Regional meet held in East Moline. Very fast course!!! (Four athlete’s sub 15:00 today in the boys race. Four athlete’s sub 18:00 in the girls race today. The girls ran great today as a team!! (Outstanding team performance) “Salix, ‘where did you come from.’ The team will be running again next week at the sectional meet in Quincy Illinois. The boys team have two athlete’s that qualified for the next week Sectional meet, “Jackson Rudd and Zach Hemmen.” Zach is coming back from a season of nagging injuries and this was his best race of the season. Jackson went out strong and didn’t let anything stand in his way in obtaining a qualifying finish to advance to the sectional champions next week in Quincy.
