It was a beautiful day to run fast on the Rock Island Saukie Gold Course. The competition was awesome, however our team was just a little off today in the boys race. We had outstanding performances by Jackson McClellan with a new personal best of 15:05 – 11 seconds) and Jaeger Norton 16:47 – 7 seconds). Jon Hutton ran a strong race, with a time of 16:03.
In the girls race we had many athlete’s on IR this year that ran today, “Maddie and Lylia.’ Kudo’s goes out to Abby Deblieck with a new person best of (19:53 – 20 seconds) Ryleigh finished the conference meet in 46th place, however she went out with the leaders. “You just cannot start from the back and expect to perform well.’ Ryleigh isn’t afraid to challenge the competition.
